This Mansion’s Screening Room Has Stadium Seating and a Concession Stand

In lieu of a roundup of open houses—which haven’t started up again yet—here are seven noteworthy properties that have just come on the market.

The listing for 1260 E. Mountain Drive ($14.95 million) touts “the estate’s Spanish heritage,” but it was built in 1990…. Whatever, the floor plan is fun to look at—13,231 square feet!—and one hopes the owners charge for the candy at the concession stand.

Elegant woodsiness at 905 Tornoe Road ($1.645 million), built in 1914.

················

Less elegant, and less old, but still very woodsy: 1821 Gibraltar Road ($2.495 million).

················

The house at 1755 Glen Oaks Drive ($2.975 million) isn’t all that remarkable, but the oak-shaded back deck looks like a nice place to hang out.

················

221 E. Islay Street ($2.995 million), a 1922 house on a lot and a half in the Upper East, went pending immediately.

················

Another Upper East house, 2439 Santa Barbara Street ($4.45 million), will likely take longer, especially at that extremely ambitious price.

················

The 1919 house at 245 Santa Rosa Lane ($4.95 million) in the Hedgerow has nice proportions and a cozy courtyard. Love the wine hut; less enamored of the roofing material and fake grass.
