Regarding the 505 E. Los Olivos proposed development: I suggest that the site be thoroughly searched for Chumash artifacts, including burial items. I was told by one of the former residents that they frequently uncovered such items when excavating for landscaping projects, etc. I believe such a historically significant burial site would preclude any disturbance/development.

$700 for parking at Cafe Del Sol! Your $500 was a deal! Took my mom to a bday brunch at Ospi this past Sunday and parked in front of Cafe Del Sol/Magic Castle/nothing really for years... and came out to a missing car. There is a RING camera on the building so apparently they can amke quick calls to Loves Towing. I need to quit my day job and start a towing business- this is a heck of a racket!
How about we start with things more local and within our control, like with the $25 BILLION CA spent on homelessness the past five years only for the problem to get worse, with zero accountability attached to those $25B. Trump's foodbank cuts to USDA were about $1B nationally. Imagine what CA could have done with that $25B.

Giovannis, Rusty's, Pizza Man Dan, Little Caesar's, Nutbelly, Dom's, Mollie's, we have cheap pizza and gourmet pizza all over the map. We definitely did NOT need another one. Would've been great to have Greek, French, Indian instead of the same old stuff.

I certainly agree that the government isn't always efficient, and shouldn't be expected to do everything. But federal funding for food banks (say that ten times fast) is generally considered to be pretty efficient. And if we're going to be critical of government efficiency, maybe we could start with the hundreds of billions spent on the military?
