We've enjoyed RH Firehouse and Clark's.
Both are great additions with good food and service.
My email bounced back as undeliverable
I was really disappointed with my chicken salad from RH, the chicken was poorly cooked and unappealing, my husband's sandwich was mediocre and fries were not as good as they looked perched on everyone's table. I tried sending an email about my chicken salad, and the email bounced back as unbelievable from the RH website.
Embedding the capers in the cream cheese? Genius move.
Your restaurant reviews are honest, helpful, and very well done.
Lots of generic “American” food with a dash of French (I guess). Still sad that the Empty Bowl restaurant on CVR didn’t make it. Having Thai food was a welcome change from the rest of Montecito offerings.
Restaurants take much longer to open than shops. Little King Coffee's café (which will have some food) and all-day restaurant Ospi should open in the next month or two. And I suspect there will eventually be at least one more casual option in the complex. (And Bogavante, in the former Stella Mare space, is technically part of The Post and will be ready later this year.)
The Post would attract a lot more people if they had ANY place to eat….coffee, brunch, FOOD. Not a coffee cart LOL
Great read — I just biked around this neighborhood and found your article online afterwards. I was intrigued by those plants at the intersection of Green meadow and stone meadow too. I thought they were cycads but wasn’t sure given the sheer scale of so many of such expensive plants, but then my apple photo app said at least one of them was actually canary island date palms. They do look alike!
Driving down the 101 tonight and the flame was there. Sought out more information and found your article. Thought you might want to know there has been a resurgence.
I think the fence/wall is stunning! And, love the surrounding area. Bravo to the owners!
The 3845 State project is shown in the sites inventory as providing 131 moderate income units. That is impossible with the proposed design.
It hasn't opened yet.
Thank you. I'll drop by to find out
It was that or one in Austin, so I took a guess.

Since I was just in that REI yesterday, I am also going with REI
I have never seen such an exquisite & creative blend of natural and modern design for a fence. So many fences don’t even consider the external view. Thank you for this gift to the community! Please find a work-around for the side walk which is another invaluable community asset so the fence can stay.

As far as SABLE and the possibility of drilling again in the Channel...Get your barrels ready ladies & gentlemen! Do the math- Board of Sups just gave themselves a massive raise and the cannabis industry is tanking in SB County and is in the midst of a re-working- the County NEEDS THE REVENUE = Sable going to all the work to fix /improve pipeline....Let them ring their hands and pretend to fight it, and in the end APPROVE IT! I predict by next summer we are in DRILL BABY DRILL mode.
Now is the time to invest in Sable stock- currently under $30 a share!
I was inspired by that wall but was concerned about termites so we built a gabion wall using rocks. I suggest this wonderful wall because you don't need a foundation and can use any local or found rocks. Second best to this stellar wall but still excellent.
For $36.5 million you too can really have royal neighbors!
This fence is a thing of beauty......so inventive, so perfect for our rural feel and a great backdrop for that corner. The County surely can't ask them to move this fence after all the effort that went into it.
