RE: 2428 Anacapa, 1) Your headline is a little deceptive. The way it reads, it would appear that the current rendition of the home is its 3rd flip attempt, which is not correct. Your lead-in should have read "In a third flip, this one located at 2428 Anacapa...". 2) I think that if you actually saw this property on the inside (it was open Thursday), you would have seen that it was totally and beautifully redone, and that the "Great Room", which flows to the island kitchen and the outdoor entertaining area quite nicely, actually works very well.
We tried Bedda Mia tonight, but it was a huge disappointment. We made a reservation on Open Table, and they seated us outside. We waited 20 mins, but no waiter came? The wait staff served us water, and we left a tip for them. We were so hungry, we had to leave! The menu was about $28 per pasta, $35 per main courses, and the wine ranged from $45-150 per bottle. Looked like an interesting menu!

Hospital vibes, indeed (815 Tye Rd). What is that thing? Lol
It has been open for a while now. I encourage you to go check it out.
Will they have gluten free and soy free options as well as vegan too? Need more places like this in Santa Barbaras
I had forgotten about that last gig. You’re right though, he’s great and I would guess he puts on a really fun show.
Bree'osh is expanding into the former Our Daily Bread space next door. If it moved its tables, it was likely just to make more space for the workers.
Any idea what is going in next to brioche on De La Vina and Alamar? There’s activity there too and brioche removed their extra patio tables in front of the space.
June 18 Rod Stewart/Cheap Trick SB Bowl Tickets are $$$$$
Remember when he stood up a seated audience at the Bowl? He called into KTYD the next am and the DJ gave him a thumping- he made up for it in a reasonable time frame. I would be happy to see him?
I just read that Rod Stewart will be at the SB Bowl at some point this season, too. I have an old boss that will be very happy, lol.
The cage was not heated. In the Montecito Journal it stated that the cage was not heated after they investigated.
The "art installation" house on Foothill began during the beginning of the pandemic lockdown, I believe? Last summer they did a Solstice theme I recall seeing as I drove by to my volunteer duties at the Museum of Natural History butterfly pavilion. :-)
Former address, as the house has sold (and I doubt they ever lived there).
Wow-you’re brave wading into the waters of posting Rob Lowe’s home address #pagingthesbnp
New Instagram handle popped up @victortheflorist …. first post on Jan 31 says “coming soon 2.0”….
This is just such an absurdly bad take I don’t even know where to start. This dog did not die of natural causes. It was left in a heating cage until it died. It’s body temperature was 109 when it was left at the vet. I don’t know how many short snout dogs you know but I can guarantee you they don’t live “lives of misery.” Give me a break.
Owners of French and English bulldogs (from a breeder) also share blame. It is INHUMANE to buy these dogs that were bred to look a specific way which makes it hard for them to breath! As the vet in the article said, they can overheat in shady 65 degree weather. They’re also very prone to skin infections and skeletal issues from their short bodies. Stop buying these dogs and subjecting them to a life of misery
You can find out more about Alma Fonda Fina in this post: https://www.sitelinesb.com/the-28-restaurants-expected-to-open-this-year/
You got it!

I've always gotten a kick out of this. It's on the Harbor Restaurant/Longboards, towards the back near the valet parking area.
Did I miss the scoop on Alma in the old Little Alex’s location? Thanks
A local Summerland (now) Vet begged me not to report that her dog bit my child- and it wasn’t its first time biting…she left that dog to die in her vehicle. In front of her house. I hope it still haunts her. I am grateful her child has successfully made it to 18
The groomer was For Paws Salon on CVR. Just horribly negligent behavior.
