Between the $10 pork chop or NY strip steak, I'm not sure what to order at Finch & Fork! Everything on that menu is $10, must have gotten out before it was proofread.
Maybe I should head to the Rodeo Room for some Germs on my salad.
I really hope these places pay more attention to detail with their food.
100% agreed Ab-1680 is a joke and a sad one! Keep the HR gates closed! Beaches are already public you just gta work to experience them! Makes it more fun! Keep gates closed!
??????????? Leave Diablo as is- making clean energy. France does it, oui can too
“Grand Theft Avocado” would be a great video game
Yea, just laughing at the irony of shutting down a functioning emissions-free power plant and putting an academic research facility that ponders how we might make cleaner energy where it once stood.
Didn’t know much about Germany’s plan to eliminate coal plants by 2038 which is what I think you’re referring to. It’s pretty impressive that they can pull this off. This was a good read: https://insideclimatenews.org/project/power-switch-2/
Please let this be deadpan sarcasm… I think the emoji is the tell? ?
For Germany it was. Axe nuclear, burn coal.
The future of clean energy is coal
I’m glad they’re putting the Diablo Nuclear Power Plant land to good use. With enough tax dollars invested in a clean tech innovation park, maybe someone will think of a way to generate electricity without emitting carbon. ?
The name Rodeo doesn't do much for me but I'm so glad something has gone in here. It's been dead for years.
Word on the street is Fairview Gardens is shutting down at the end of the month. I’m told that employees were given very little notice and are still in shock. It’s my understanding that the property can only be used for non-profit purposes. Sounds like the new owners wants to shut down for the near year to work on infrastructure. Can you please confirm?
I benefit reading your comments on various properties and pricing. I’d love for you to analyze my home which I am preparing to sell or lease. http://calleelegante93108.us/ It seems pricing is based on visuals and staging rather than structural integrity. I’m starting the process to sell or lease paying close attention to local real estate. In my 42 years here I’ve observed buyers customize homes to their liking replacing most everything from kitchens, baths, flooring, paint and landscaping. My contemporary home and furniture were all white, gray and black until a 2010-12 facelift when I added color. Now the trend is back to white, gray, and black. Both looks dramatically different. . What’s constant for me is I like my guests outside of the kitchen enjoying views, social spaces, and gardens. Im not a great room fan.
Wow! I am sorry for thinking you were interrested in worrying about any other person.
Hard to tell as there may be multiple signs like this, but I think this is on De La Vina Street near the back driveway to Ralphs.
Rumor is that the group that owns teddys in carpinteria and omni catering is interested and is in talks with owners of the palms.
The addition of UCLA medical to town has been fantastic for me. They have excellent doctors and it’s a priceless opportunity to get connected into the larger UCLA network for those of us with complex medical needs. It’s also been great to have much shorter wait times to see physicians than is typically experienced throughout the rest of town where it is fast becoming nearly impossible to be seen for any condition in a reasonable amount of time, or to become a patient if you are not already established as one. This is one circumstance in which I happily welcome our new overlords from LA!
Hi. I am part owner of Salty. It is not closed. It is in escrow and even when the new owner takes over it will remain salty for a while, until downstairs is complete. Can you please change your header from saying closed so that people will still come down and eat and enjoy the view.
I second the vote for Mony’s. They get the crispy-around-the-edges-cheese and delicious mix of onions and peppers to perfection!
RE: De la Guerra Plaza - In this climate grass is maybe not a great idea, but doesn't this rendering look a little . . . stark? bleak? lifeless?
Cesar’s Place 712 N Milpas St
La Superica’s Rajas.
Miss little A’s big time.
Rajas at la super rica are delicious
Totally agree!
When will Gaviota Pier be fixed? Its an important resource for the 805 as a recreational tool and as a boat launch.
Lets go Gaven!
I just love the Dutch Garden diorama!
