I guess street tacos don't include chicken or fish (shrimp cooks quickly)? I found that very odd. Also, no salads or soups? Lastly, in rain or extreme wind or even heat, the outdoors has zero coverings, so you are totally exposed to the elements. I don't think this is very smart.
Does the new Marborg policy also apply to County residents?
If it’s any consolation, I showed this menu to my mother who was born and raised in Jalisco and she didn’t know what half of the menu items were.
Are you in kindergarten?
Hey Siteline. Just opening a new fashion boutique shop on 900 block of Linden Ave in Carpinteria. Its sister locations are Ojai and Ventura. IKAT AND PEARLS. A great shop with one of a kind jewelry, beachy and artsy items and art. Comfortable cotton and cashmere clothing. Please check it out!
Tough crowd. The "plancha" isn't necessarily a grill. It's the hot, flat steel cooking surface appliance used at nearly every restaurant. I don't mind the menu in all spanish. Take a photo or screenshot the one on this page and learn it in 30 minutes or less. You could also enter the entire menu into ChatGPT and it would summarize it for you in English.
Worked at Circle K ranch- the lodge is awesome- the furniture & art work is amazing! Nature’s Plus held week long sales meetings- they filled every room! We used the kitchen where Ray Kroc ( Circle K) did testing for McDonalds. Lots of welded circles to cook 6 eggs at a time!
Item #5, the mozzarella dog , reminds me of the hot dog on a stick place in La Cumbre Plaza that closed 35 years ago. They made a good cheese dog.
I rode my beach cruiser up State this morning. Even with the few structures that remain in the 500 block I think the Solstice, Fiesta and other parades could come back.
Sounds like a great opportunity for an enterprising young person to start a new business putting their neighbors trash cans out for pick up.
Anyone who can afford that extra $90 a month for the Marborg fee will more than likely just have their housekeepers or gardeners do it from now on. Marborg might do better to say something to the effect of: we no longer offer this service with the exception of disabled folks and people over the age of _____. As of now, they sound a little petulant and greedy, imo.
Why is everyone so upset here? Take a chill pill and have a taco and a beer and just relax..!
Is the Marborg premium charge annually or monthly?
Well, since you don't live here you don't need to worry about this menu
The funny thing about SB is that while it appears to be wealthy, it's actually a town full of poor people (or at least people just hanging on). The majority of people who call SB home have no money. They're either house poor or they're literally poor. This is why we end up with high end chain stores and restaurants that fail within months. Outside in SB looks like a wealthy town. High end real estate, famous residents, etc. Inside out, its full of do-nothings, bums, students on their parents dollar and generations of hanger-on who live in their grandma's house until they are in their 50's... These high end retail and restaurants experiments always fail. This will be no different. Especially considering the location is SB's Skid Row with hordes of homeless, drug addicts and day workers hanging out in front and behind 24/7. Certainly does not make for a pleasant shopping or living experience.
If you lived by a creek, you would know the name of that creek.
How would a heavily vetted organization that financially supports the arts gain access to tour this home upon completion?
Yikes, Mike.
Stands on chair and applauds! Yes!!! Exactly this.
TIL that taco menus are a third-rail issue.
900 Park Lane is an absolute stunning home in my opinion. WOW!
That menu is in Mexican Spanish, not just Spanish. So he needs to learn basic Mexican Spanish.
If you’re that triggered by Spanish, be careful looking at a map or any road signs in “Santa Barbara”.
I'm not in the State where this establishment resides so my chances of ever visiting are slim to none. I do happen to speak Spanish fluently. With that said, I find it extremely annoying the owners of the restaurant have decided to post all the menu items in Spanish only, making it complicated for non-spanish speakers - like my wife. Yes, I could translate but why? It would had taken a total of five minutes to add the English translations to the menu. This is just annoying. If a restaurant like this was near me I would visit it once, see the menu issue and more than likely never go back again. Stop being lazy and respect your customers.
