After 15 years as a chef at Sakana, Teruhisa Ogue is opening his own restaurant with his wife, Ellie Chan. Teru, as it will be called, is at 1305 State Street (Sola/Victoria), most recently the site of Roost, and before that, Downey’s. (And only a block away from Arigato….) While sushi will obviously be a prime focus, Teru will also offer many hot dishes and elements of fusion throughout. They’re shooting to open November 1. Stay tuned….
