••• The Piccolo, a new 24-room hotel in Paso Robles, has opened. It’s a sister property to the Paso Robles Inn; room photos aren’t on the website yet. The rooftop bar, open to the public, will likely become a hotspot.
••• The Provençal-inspired house at 1970 East Valley Road sold for $5.810 million; it was listed at $6 million.
••• The new listing at 1645 Las Canoas Road includes a guesthouse that “was once the ‘Forest Cottage’ located at the San Ysidro Ranch. It was moved to Los Canoas and was recently permitted as a legal ADU.” Evidently Mick Jagger once stayed there.
••• I admire the creativity of this mosaic on E. Padre Street, although I’m not sure the utility shares the sentiment.
