Back in October, after The Monarch and Silver Bough closed, the Montecito Inn‘s owners announced their plan to run the space themselves as “an all-day restaurant to serve both the guests of our hotel as well as Montecito and Santa Barbara locals.” That day is near: Coast & Olive, as the restaurant is named, will be ready to serve takeout in a week or so. I stopped in yesterday to say hello, and the space looks sharp. Here are the menus*:
