Montecito Natural Foods Has Found a New Home

••• Na Na Thai‘s permanent outpost at 225 McMurray Road in Buellton cracks open its doors a bit this weekend (Friday through Sunday, 2-7 p.m.) for a limited menu of takeout. Preordering would be a wise move. Above: pad Thai.

••• A reader sent word that Montecito Natural Foods will be moving to the Upper Village, in the storefront directly across from Montecito Village Grocery. I stopped by to confirm it, and I was told that the current shop will close next month, with the new one to open in July. It’ll be much smaller, focusing exclusively on supplements.

••• Axxess has been bought by a Santa Barbara–based company called Twism.

••• Corner Tap has been closed since April 24 for a renovation and when it reopens it’ll have a larger menu. —Restaurant Guy

••• On Mondays, Local is offering 30 percent off all bottles of wine (excluding ones offered by the glass).

••• C. noticed that cookie chain Crumbl—which is apparently a craze—is coming to Goleta’s Calle Real Center.

••• A sushi/poke restaurant called Pokéwaves is opening in Noleta’s Turnpike Center. —Restaurant Guy

••• A bunch of Isla Vista news from Restaurant Guy: I.V. Pizza and Pub has opened, SocialEats looks close to opening, and California Tacos and Taproom has closed.

••• The Ellwood restaurant at Goleta Beach is now hoping to open by late summer. —Independent
