Bar Le Côte Has Started Taking Reservations

••• New Los Olivos restaurant Bar Le Côte (a) is taking reservations; and (b) has its beer and wine license. Above: Hand-cut steak tartare with horseradish cream and crispy oysters, photographed by Aliza J. Sokolow.

••• The Mesa’s Corner Tap is now offering cocktails.

••• “The former Outback Steakhouse property has been leased,” reports Restaurant Guy. It’s on Calle Real, near Trader Joe’s.

••• I’m late to this, but the restaurant part of the Modern Times tasting room has been branded as Burgertorium (and same goes for the brewer’s other locations). The menu is a little different but mostly the same, and still vegan.

••• After a couple of friends recommended the Get Hooked seafood CSA, we signed up, and we’ve been thrilled. Every Tuesday, the company delivers a cooler with the freshest fish—maybe petrale sole, or halibut, or salmon…—we’ve ever had. (“It smells like the sea!” Adam said when he opened the halibut, pictured below.) Your date may vary, or you can pick it up at sites around town, if you prefer. This is starting to sound like an ad, but I assure you it’s not; that said, if you do decide to sign up, feel free to mention Siteline in the comments of the order form. Get Hooked has a referral program and I see no reason why I shouldn’t benefit from it….
