After opening Bonita in Summerland and Bonita Beach on Santa Claus Lane, and then closing them both, Rita Villa has returned to Summerland—and expanded her scope—with her newest endeavor, Hacienda by Bonita Lifestyle. Located at 2272 Lillie Avenue, a couple doors down from Garde, the shop has the women’s apparel you’d expect from a Bonita establishment, but also decorative items (those vases would look great in your Spanish Colonial), a pantry section (with fresh offerings from Duo Catering & Events and Stepladder Creamery, among others), and a kids’ corner. It might be as close as you’ll get to a vacation in Tulum these days. Hacienda is open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday through Thursday by appointment.
