This Glamorous 1934 Montecito Estate Is Now $1.5 Million Cheaper

A 1934 estate on 8.9 acres just below Park Lane, 900 Knollwood Drive (↓$1.5M to $17.75M) was designed by Edwards & Plunkett and renovated by Lutah Maria Riggs. Accordingly, it has glamour to burn—more so if you crisp up the interiors. Update 3/11: Listing photos removed at the request of the owners.

After 227 days on the market, 280 Gould Lane (↓$100K to $4.25M) has tried another price chop—its fourth since it was originally listed at $4.8 million. The house seems livable enough, and it has the amenities of the Ennisbrook development, but it’s presumably hurt by abutting Sheffield Drive. (Also pictured at the top of the post.)

The current owners of 956 Mariposa Lane (↓$405K to $12.5M) in Montecito paid $11.69 million in 2015, then listed it in July for $14.5 million—but it was never clear what they did to warrant the jump.

A 1904 house truly steps from the beach, 1 Miramar Avenue (↓$600K to $4.35M) is just waiting for the right vision. Note: The house has gone pending since the price cut.

101 Mesa Lane is the funky oceanfront compound bought 21 years ago by four friends who made a pact: If anyone wanted out, they’d all agree to sell. That time has come, but two would prefer to stay. So there are three options: You can purchase all of it; just buildings B, C, F, and G (43% ownership); or just building E (14% ownership). All three got price cuts: The 100% option is now $14.45 million (↓$500K); the 43% ownership is now $6.2 million (↓$18,785); and the 14% ownership is now $2.065 million (↓$71K).
