Just heard back: it's opening today at 3 p.m. The hours are tentatively 3-9 p.m., at least for now.
The Italian ice place never opened, at least that I saw. And Reunion keeps hinting that it's close but there's no date yet. (I just tried asking again.)
Did that italian ice place ever open next to Mollies? Looked inside and it looked brand new.
Also is Reunion opening this week?

Don't forget the James Perse store at the entrance too. (Yep, it is a mall.) I think Dior pop-up store did okay too (oddly) this summer. As you said, I fully expect Caruso to go full-tilt LVMH with this weird idea that 'luxury' is more about labels and a Disney-esque whitewash served with champagne. And I do think he's done his research, as a certain crowd likes the familiar 'brand' approach. But I live here for exactly the opposite reason — and as much as I want to like the Miramar for an outdoor cocktail or food, I find it all a little not what our community is truly about.

Grassini Family Vineyards participates in a cork recycling program too! You can drop off your corks at our downtown tasting room in the El Paseo (open 12-6 daily.) When the box is full, our cork supplier picks it up and recycles the corks. Cheers!

Love this post! I was one of the Milpas fans on Instagram :) Definitely one of the most underrated parts of town, and one I preferred to frequent when I lived on the Mesa. PS - I also loved Better Burritos! Any chance they'll be back soon?
The bus stop benches were removed pre-Covid and replaced with the single chairs to avoid loitering and “camping”. It has been an improvement.

I remember the glory days of Winchester Canyon (now Timbers Roadhouse). They had great live music, lots of plants (fern bar vibe) and a great bar scene.
