No issues what-so-ever with a classy restaurant insisting it's clients dress nicely. Today's shabby yoga pants and gym shorts world needs a few places that still adhere to some standards. Nothing quite like looking forward to a great night, getting dressed up and prepped, only to be forced to sit near people in gym shorts, flip flops and tank tops spending their dinner playing on their phone while their 3 yr old runs around the room screaming...
I give Alma Fonda 6months. 12 if they halve their prices and serve things people actually want...
Caruso's is easily the best in town and if wearing a jacket is part of the price of admission it is well worth it and yes, I agree it just gets better each time.
Standard procedure to start these types of projects after September first as that is when the "Emergency Declaration" kicks in to allow waiving many of the environmental requirements to be able to complete the project before the winter storm season. My guess is that most of these signs will be ignored due to this and due to many of them having fallen down as you stated.
Other projects impacting use of the front country trails include Tunnel Road trailhead closed for the rest of the year, on going (with little progress) parking issue at Hot Springs trailhead, San Ysidro trail closed, new debris basin at Buena Vista trailhead, and Romero road to the saddle being closed.
The Dreier family hasn’t owned the building since 2018. It was sold shortly before Mr. Dreier passed away. The “no trespass” signs were mandatory for insurance purposes.

I lived on Santa Rosa Place (a block from Shoreline Park) in the mid 90's. The Mesa was always the best vibe because you had all the waterfront / beach amenities and close proximity to town, minus the tourists.
Back then, those little 50's houses were selling for $300K. Can't stop "progress"!!

Regarding your report on 4628 Via Huerto, may I make a correction please? The guest house is a separate structure, and although it looks like garages on the lower level, in fact the lower level space was built as workshop space, and today could easily be used as a workout area or a 3 room office with a bath. The floor plan is loaded on MLS.

I believe the Corsons tried for years to give away their Moody house for free, but the city made it so difficult for someone to move and install it that multiple deals fell through.
