Sorry, folks: “Beginning Friday, August 6, Santa Barbara County Public Health is mandating the use of universal face coverings indoors, regardless of vaccination status.” The county’s full press release is on Edhat, but that’s all you really need to know, other than the mandate takes effect at 5 p.m. on Friday.
UPDATE 8/4: Noozhawk‘s article has good background on the situation, including this: “Capacity restrictions, physical distancing and other public health measures from the state’s reopening tier system are not expected to return.”
