Chomp on the Rocks Is Now Open at the Harbor

••• Villa Wine Bar & Kitchen on Anacapa is hosting Golden Line Coffee on weekends, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. I’m all for more serious coffee in this town, but that area might be nearing saturation.

••• From the Mar Monte Hotel, across from East Beach: “Our Costa Kitchen & Bar pop up experience is now open. Join us for dinner every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11. p.m on the terrace and enjoy our signature mezze station, Italian and Mediterranean signature dishes and much more.” No clue what “pop-up experience” means….

••• Saint Barbara Greek Orthodox Church is doing a food pop-up on November 7 and 8. Options include gyros, spanakopita, dolmas, Greek lentil soup, and baklava; order by October 25.

••• Chomp on the Rocks, the quick-service restaurant on the lower level of the Chuck’s Waterfront Grill/Endless Summer space at the harbor, has opened. Here are the menus.

••• If you like salami, I strongly recommend Elevation Meats‘s made with fennel pollen, at Metropulos Fine Foods. At least, I think that’s what we ordered, although the package has “Basque salami” written on it, so play it safe and buy both.
