Bars Will Have to Close Again Starting Wednesday

••• Henry Dubroff of the Pacific Coast Business Times posted that “The Carpinteria Valley Chamber of Commerce will join its Santa Barbara and Goleta counterparts to form the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber of Commerce. The move comes just two months after the Santa Barbara and Goleta chambers voted to join forces on April 24. The combined organization will have around 1100 members and the tagline ‘from Goleta to Carpinteria’ will be added to the Santa Barbara South Coast chamber name.”

••• “The city of Solvang is getting two brand new hotels from luxury hotel brand Highway West Vacations. […] The hotels, the Winston and the Vinland Hotel & Lounge, will offer visitors a combination of luxury and old world charm.” The Winston opens July 1 in the Old Mill Clock Tower; “upon arriving, guests receive an email with a code for the entry door and one for their room.
