A lineup of all of this weekend’s open houses can be found at sbopenhouses.com, courtesy the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors. Here are five of the most intriguing ones:
4961 Boulder Ridge Road ($2.9 million) and 4730 Boulder Ridge Road ($2.85 million) are new houses in the San Antonio Creek area—judging from the first photo above, they’ll be followed by others. 4961 has something you don’t seen often around here: a roof deck. (And it also has a pending offer, according to Zillow.) / Open Saturday and Sunday, 1-4 p.m.
The house at 2885 Spyglass Ridge Road ($2.9 million) is unremarkable, but the views are extraordinary. The 40-acre lot—most of which is mountainside—is walking distance to the Inspiration Point trailhead. / Open Sunday, 2-4 p.m.
The midcentury bones of 1333 E. Valley Road ($3 million), built in 1961, are visible in the photos, and “virtually enhanced” versions show what a coat of bright white paint could do. The lot is only a half acre, but there are three buildings: a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath main house; one-bedroom guesthouse with full bath; and a two-room pool house with full bath. / Open Saturday, 1-4 p.m.
The genteel 1895 house at 2014 Garden Street ($3.2 million) deserves to be seen in person. Make it all the way up to the meditation room, pictured above. / Open Sunday, 1-3 p.m.
