Pascucci Restaurant Will Close After 33 Years

••• After 33 years at four locations—including the current one at 1230 State (Anapamu/Victoria)—Pascucci Restaurant will close for good in mid-February. I’ve reached out to the restaurant to inquire whether there’s any hope the bottled salad dressing will live on.

••• Restaurant Guy rounded up the restaurants serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal (or have takeout options).

••• A profile of Motley Crew Marketplace in Buellton. Worth noting: “Sandwiches are coming soon.” —Independent

••• Speaking of sandwiches, after I posted about Que barbecue opening next month at the Santa Barbara Public Market, the menu came in, which led to a slew of comments about the word “sando.”

••• Mayo’s Carniceria & Tacos on De La Vina Street (just above Alamar Avenue) has rebranded as Cris Market & Restaurant. —Restaurant Guy

••• Hazelnuts are totally underrated, possibly because the ones you buy at the store tend to be tired. Intrigued by seeing Freddy Guys hazelnuts on the menu at Bettina, as part of the excellent pear pizza, I ordered some from the farm. The shipping cost makes them a bit of a luxury, but they’re worth it.

The list of restaurants serving a complete Thanksgiving meal for take out missed including Zooker’s in Carpinteria . It’s ordered from the meat deli tucked behind the main Zookers.
(Which makes incredible sandwiches-especially the italian.)
Maybe check it out next year. Or is Carp not included in your survey ?

The Zookers meat market is fantastic. May be the best sandwiches in SB county as well.
