I can’t believe you’re shrugging your shoulders at a gun store opening up next to a preschool! No, it doesn’t automatically mean people are going to buy a gun then go next door to cause harm but it’s obtuse not to be cognizant that school shootings are prevalent in this country. Why can’t they just set up gun stores at shooting ranges instead of placing them next to a literal place for children. We’d probably see more concerted outrage if it were an adult store or strip club rather than a store that sells weapons. Such is the sad state of our nation.
Guns shops sell clay pigeons that are used for sport, alongside alongside essential items like ammunition, tactical holsters, optics, and cleaning kits- so there are a multitude of reasons one might visit a shop.

I did see the word “rarely” and “very rarely” in regards to evolving into mass shootings. I would have preferred to see “does not” or “never”.
There are 400 to 600 mass shootings per year in the US according google Ai.
People get mad, they get sad, they develop mental illness and occasionally they shoot themselves, they shoot others or most frequently shoot someone by accident. Sometimes the gun gets in the hands of children with catastrophic consequences.
