$2.6 Million Reduction for Oceanfront Hope Ranch

The week’s most noteworthy price adjustments….

Oceanfront in Hope Ranch, 4015 Bajada Lane (↓$2.6M to $16.9M) looks impressive from the outside, but the inside is Dallas-by-the-sea. It was last on the market in May 2018 for $19.5 million, down $1.25 million from the initial 2017 ask. P.S. Weirdest TV placement ever. Maybe it’s for a webcam pointed at their yacht?

The 1912 estate called La Ladera at 1954 East Valley Road (↓$900K to $8.95M) was on the market last fall for $9.85 million, and then it took some time off before coming back in July at the same price. It looks like it was remodeled at the wrong time.

At nearly 10,000 square feet, couldn’t 810 Buena Vista Drive (↓$455K to $8.495M) have found more private space for these toilets?

After not even two weeks, 1890 Jelinda Drive (↓$900K to $6.9M) took a machete to its price.

If the floors were wood, I imagine 860 Ashley Road (↓$200K to $4.65M) would go in a snap.

Apparently, no one likes the funk of 1745 Grand Avenue (↓$55K to $1.795M) quite as much as I do.
