The First Annual Godmothers Day and More Exciting Events at Godmothers in Summerland

Celebrate Godmothers Day with Godmothers in Summerland! On Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., we’ll host three special events and ongoing, all-day activities centered on our godmothers—the women who lift us up and bring out our magic. It’s a tribute to the women who are changing the world and our worlds.

Storytime: Godmothers Day Stories & Crafts With Godmothers
Sunday, May 4, 10 a.m.
We’ll host an extra-special two-hour story time with readings at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., and wand-making crafts throughout. Fairy costumes encouraged! RSVP.

Workshop: Godmothers Day Needle Crafting With Diana Weymar
Sunday, May 4, 1 p.m.
In honor of Godmothers Day and the grand tradition of sewing circles—a place for skill-sharing and community-building—we’re thrilled to welcome Diana Weymar, the author of Crafting A Better World (an Oprah Daily Empowering Reads About Women Who Lead pick) and the founder of the Tiny Pricks Project.
