Olada, a newly opened yoga and Pilates studio at Linden Square in Carpinteria, offers a serene space where breath, movement, and design meet. Founded by licensed psychotherapist and mindful movement advocate Casey Glassman, Olada reflects her belief that healing begins with both our inner and outer environments. Flooded with natural light and grounded in a coastal palette of sand, stone, and eucalyptus, the studio brings the outdoors in—creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Glassman, who turned to yoga while feeling emotionally depleted as a therapist, fell in love with the practice and later embraced Pilates for its strength-building benefits. “They’re both breath-led,” she says, “but together, they support the body in a more complete way.” At Olada, yoga and reformer Pilates are offered side by side to meet people where they are on their wellness journey.
