NORDSTROM WILL CLOSE ITS SANTA BARBARA STORE
Given the state of retail even before the Covid-19 nightmare, the closing of Nordstrom can hardly come as a shock—except perhaps to Paseo Nuevo, which assured everyone just last week that “Nordstrom isn’t going anywhere.”

WEATHER FORECAST
“The cooling continues today, and the fog will begin to creep into more areas, but Santa Barbara should remain clear,” says Jack Martin of Action Roofing. “On Sunday, we’ll see fog in some areas, but still a nice day in the low 70s. We really start to cool off next week: low pressure will move in Monday night, and we might have a chance of drizzle Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll watch how this all develops, but expect May gray next week and much cooler temps, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s inland.” Email [email protected] to receive daily updates.
