The weather forecast from Jack Martin of Action Roofing: “A low pressure system is moving closer to us, which will allow for rain to start up north to south. Two models show the rain moving in later on Sunday, the other late morning. This will be a good storm with rain total of 1/2 to an 1 inch coastal and 1 to 2 inches in the foothills and mountains. We will also see south flow, so Santa Barbara hills like Montecito will see higher totals. Depending on when the rain starts, we will see rain into Monday—showers at the least. Rainfall rates should remain under 1/2 inch per hour. This is also a warmer storm, so no snow will fall in the local mountains.
