Santa Barbara startup Kitchenette has been transforming dinner for local families since launching this spring. Now the company expands beyond its signature 4-portion “family” meals to include 2-portion servings and standalone side dishes.
Kitchenette’s new plant-based Buddha Bowl is available in 4 and 2 portion sizes. It satisfies meat eaters and vegans alike, with Rancho Gordo chickpeas in a coconut-spinach stew, roasted sweet potatoes and red onions, organic beluga lentils and roasted almonds. With locally sourced and organic ingredients, the company has a refreshing take on convenient, delicious meals on nights you can’t cook from scratch. But just like the food you make at home, it’s free from any dubious ingredients: the company never uses preservatives, refined sugar, excess sodium, or seed oils. To date, the company’s meals have also been gluten-free. And all without compromising on flavor. Their blast freezing technique preserves the peak flavor and nutrition of Kitchenette food, meaning it’s often fresher than “fresh.”

In addition to becoming a household staple, Kitchenette makes the perfect gift. There’s nothing a friend or loved one appreciates more than the gift of a stress-free and delicious meal, especially when it’s delivered straight to their door with a bow.
Order directly through Kitchenette’s website, and stay up to date by following them on Instagram.
Kitchenette meals can be gifted locally, sent with a personalized note and wrapped in a bow.
