County Approves Vaccinations for Age 65 and Older

••• “Beginning February 16, Santa Barbara County residents 65 and older will get their first opportunity to schedule a Covid-19 vaccination,” but the number of vaccines is limited so don’t get too excited. “In addition, the state announced Friday that people between the ages of 16 and 64 who are disabled or are at high risk of death or serious illness if they contract the virus will be eligible to receive their vaccines March 15 as vaccines become available.” —Independent

••• There are “Coast Village Road business owners who want to form a property business improvement district to raise money annually for enhancements to Coast Village Road. The Coast Village Association on Tuesday asked the City Council for $30,000 to kickstart the effort to form the district.
