Rose Story Farm began in 1998, when we decided to try growing 1000 rose bushes on a half acre of our Carpinteria Valley lemon and avocado farm. We imagined an old-fashioned rose farm, with the radiant hues of European and pre-1950 American varieties in bloom across our 15 acres. From the very first day, our mission has been to produce beautiful, fragrant, romantic roses in exquisite shapes and colors. We are dedicated to producing the highest quality roses in our gardens, and Rose Story Farm now grows 30,000 rose bushes, with over 130 varieties.

We bring roses into people’s lives, all around the world, in every conceivable way—cut roses for retail or wholesale, extraordinary floral arrangements, rose and companion plants for their properties, and full garden design, installation, and maintenance.

Rose Story Farm is only open by appointment. Tours are scheduled monthly or can be privately arranged for any size group.
