Bartron Real Estate Group
Concierge-level service for 35+ years. A trusted local resource beyond the closing
For nearly 35 years, Bartron Real Estate Group has built its reputation in Santa Barbara real estate through deep local knowledge, trusted relationships, and a service-oriented approach. Founded by senior partner Lorie F. Bartron and led today alongside managing partner Chris Smith, the group has grown intentionally into a collaborative team of experienced real estate professionals who genuinely enjoy working together and share a commitment to putting their clients first.
Each member of the team brings a distinct background, perspective, and area of expertise, while working as a connected unit to share market knowledge, resources, and trusted relationships. Their experience spans a wide range of Santa Barbara real estate, from first-time homebuyers to luxury and legacy estates, land, investment properties, and complex transactions. With strong systems and technology behind them, the agents are able to remain focused on what matters most: understanding their clients and providing thoughtful, hands-on guidance throughout the buying or selling process.
That commitment to service has also earned the group consistent recognition within Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, including being named the #3 small team worldwide for sales volume in 2026. Lorie brings decades of industry experience, leadership, and mentorship to the group, while Chris oversees much of the team’s day-to-day operations and helps guide its continued growth with an emphasis on service, strategy, and long-term relationships.
For Bartron Real Estate Group, success is measured not simply by sales volume or accolades, but by the trust they build with their clients. Many of those relationships extend through multiple transactions and stages of life, reflecting the team’s goal of being a lasting real estate resource for the people and community they serve.

Our clients say...
“Chris was able to make the impossible, possible for us! We lost hope in being able to sell our house and him and his team have smoothly and successfully sold our place in the first week. True professional and so knowledgeable, Chris has also helped us obtain the best and the most for our property. We remain grateful and appreciative of all of Chris’s work, understanding and guidance!” — Ramona W.
“This was my first time working with Chris in a real estate transaction. I have been through this process with 3 homes and a few very large business leases. This particular escrow of a commercial store, house and ranch all in one was far more complicated than anything I have ever been part of. Chris handled every stage of it with professionalism, patience and speed as we needed to get the deal closed. After endless steps to close something with this many moving parts, I do not know how we could have done it with out him. Thank you Chris and thank you to your amazing team!” — Sean E.
“Lorie and her team did an exceptional job selling our Hope Ranch home as well as helping us purchase our new home! They are remarkably professional, knowledgeable and hardworking real estate agents. They go above and beyond and helped us with numerous resource challenges. Bartron Group is obviously highly respected by their peer’s due to their integrity, skills and steady demeanor. We loved working with them and will definitely call on them for our next move!” — Elizabeth S.
