Beachfront House Two Doors Down From the Miramar Resort

The owner of 1558 Miramar Beach seems to be making a bet that the newish Rosewood Miramar resort has dramatically affected property values: Having bought the house two years ago for $3.85 million, he/she has just put it on the market for $6.1 million. Or perhaps the thinking is that any buyer should pay a premium for not having endured the construction….

The location is certainly special: right on the sand and two doors west of the Miramar.

The photo directly above is the view from the top-floor master bedroom balcony. The photo below, meanwhile, shows the widow’s walk atop the house.

The lot is tiny—just 871 square feet, or .02 acre—and the house quite narrow, so the interiors have been made to evoke a boat, with Brazilian and teak hardwood floors and custom teak cabinetry.

Below is the master bedroom with vaulted ceiling (also pictured at the very top of the post). Even with a queen bed, someone is climbing in the hard way.

There are two guest bedrooms—one normal size, one not so much.

Contact Janet Caminite of Berkshire Hathaway for a showing. Be sure to tell her Siteline sent you.
