••• So have Olio e Limone and Olio Pizzeria.

••• And the Honor Bar in Montecito is open for dine-in service! At least out on the patio….

••• From Helena Avenue Bakery: “We are excited to announce our Memorial Day Weekend Bake Sale (Sat., May 23, to Mon., May 25), featuring organic sourdough levain, baguettes, and sweets. Limited availability, pre-orders are highly recommended. To order your bread and jams visit our website www.helenaavenuebakery.com and click ‘order takeaway.'”

••• Bibi Ji is still doing takeout in its funky way, but it has expanded the hours: “Thursday through Sunday!⁣ New pickup times: 5:30, 6, 6:30, and 7 p.m. New menu items just added, weekly specials and beverage pairings available through our mailing list.” Sign up here.

••• Lilac Patisserie sent this to Restaurant Guy: “Beginning this Saturday 5/23, we will be opening our doors every day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. for pick up and local delivery from a limited cafe menu, including breakfast, lunch, dessert items, and drinks.”

••• This week, my husband and I really busted out of our food rut, trying three restaurants that are either new or new to us. First, we ordered takeout from Zaytoon, which might have the best set-up in town for this kind of thing. You walk up the stairs and your order is there waiting. Second, we grabbed lunch at Taqueria Santa Barbara, which recently opened on State Street between Victoria and Anapamu (and has more vegetarian options than usual, and which makes its own corn tortillas daily), and ate it on a ledge by the library. And tonight we’re getting Secret Bao‘s set-menu dinner of lobster rolls, portobello fries, and more. It used to be available only one night a week, but this week it expanded to two nights. As delicious as the food has been (or as I expect it to be), the novelty might’ve been the best part. All of which is to say I highly recommend trying something new.
